This past week
has been actually awesome.
I don’t even remember having an exam on Monday. Then a well deserved drink (or 10) were had that evening and it was so hilarious. Spending some quality time with some great friends and laughing too much at Ziad and Harvey “dougying”.
Tuesday was spent sunbathing all day with Talisa who I have now become really good friends with. We were both a little less for wear but it was fab. Caught some rays (especially on the old nose) and chilled. That evening, I was so tired from all the sun but Talisa and I had arranged to make our rainbow cake. Look it up on the internet and thats what our goal was. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough food colouring for the desired colours and so it turned out brown (not red), pastel blue, pastel green, yellow and mustard (not orange). It also didn’t taste too good according to our tasters. Oh well. Last minute decision and we were off to Thorpe Park.
Thorpe Park was epic. I have never been before and the weather was lush. Although we did get lost and ended up driving past it on the M3 we finally made our way back and to the theme park. It wasn’t busy at all which was great and we also got fast track to most of the rides. The gang was Ziad, Talisa, Harvey, Will, James and myself. Great group of people and an absolute laugh. Arriving home to then get a quick shower and something to eat. We had to make ourselves look presentable for a friends birthday but us girls didn’t go out. Instead we watched Romeo and Juliet and laughed a lot….HULIETTTTTTTT MY VACKKK!!! They boys decided to go out and were back within an hour. They had some male bonding time which I think is great.
Today was also spent in the sun with the same group of people. Sunbathing and sort of revising for my last exam. Oh well its been a great week so far.
I am going home to Blackpool tomorrow to see some friends for a party and to see my best friend who is currently in hospital after surgery. So excited to see everyone but I kind of want to stay here in the sun.
Great week, great company, great life. So happy right now :)
